Santo Domingo.\u2013<\/strong> The Permanent Attention Court of the National District, based in Ciudad Nueva, imposed coercive measures on businessman Francesco Intrieri<\/strong>, consisting of periodic reporting<\/strong>, a financial guarantee of RD$10 million through an insurance company<\/strong>, and a travel ban<\/strong>, after hearing the request presented by the Public Prosecutor’s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon leaving the hearing, the plaintiff expressed their disagreement with the court’s decision, considering that the measures imposed do not guarantee the protection of the disputed lands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“They left him tied to the process with one of the coercive measures, not the one we wanted, because he has continued to offer the land belonging to others for sale<\/strong>,” expressed one of the lawyers for the alleged victims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Likewise, he announced that he will appeal the judicial decision and stated that they will undertake new legal actions to preserve the rights of those they represent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For his part, Francesco Intrieri described the decision as an act of justice and assured that the court analyzed the evidence presented during the hearing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The judges work in the Dominican Republic. They evaluated the documentation and recognized that everything was fake. They were defrauding me of my entire estate and my daughter’s estate<\/strong>,” he\/she maintained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, his lawyers, Juan Jos\u00e9 Eusebio<\/strong> and Carlos Nova<\/strong>, asserted that their client is the true victim of the judicial conflict and that there is an alleged plan to strip him of a plot of land of approximately five million square meters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The defense indicated that the property in dispute would have a value close to 94 million dollars<\/strong> and stated that it will continue the process to prove the businessman’s innocence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
