{"id":520270,"date":"2021-10-13T08:38:37","date_gmt":"2021-10-13T12:38:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.net\/en\/uncategorized\/dominican-arrested-57-times-this-year-for-various-robberies-in-new-york\/"},"modified":"2026-08-08T09:34:11","modified_gmt":"2026-08-08T13:34:11","slug":"dominican-arrested-57-times-this-year-for-various-robberies-in-new-york","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/en\/international\/new-york\/dominican-arrested-57-times-this-year-for-various-robberies-in-new-york\/","title":{"rendered":"Dominican arrested 57 times this year for various robberies in New York"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NEW YORK.-<\/strong> Hispanic man Isaac Rodriguez, 22, a resident of Queens, has been arrested 57 times this year for stealing from various commercial establishments in this city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rodr\u00edguez, allegedly Dominican, has stolen thousands of dollars worth of items from retail chains such as Victoria&#8217;s Secret, Target, and Macy&#8217;s, but his preferred store has been Walgreens, committing 37 of his misdeeds there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He has been arrested 46 times for committing these robberies, but his police record includes 74 offenses since 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The police describe the Hispanic man as \u201cthe king of thieves,\u201d as he steals everything; from energy drinks to body lotions and baby food. He also likes Dove soap, according to court records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A police source maintained that state laws make shoplifting a promising option, because most of those arrested are released within a few days and in some cases even the same day, due to criminal justice reform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The blame lies with the politicians, said the head of the NYC Police Department, Dermot Shea.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NEW YORK.- Hispanic man Isaac Rodriguez, 22, a resident of Queens, has been arrested 57 times this year for stealing from various commercial establishments in this city.
