Santo Domingo.- <\/strong>The National Organization Secretary of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM),<\/a> Deligne Ascenci\u00f3n, stated this Sunday that the consolidation of the structures of that political organization throughout the national territory and in Dominican communities abroad constitutes the main legacy of his administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ascenci\u00f3n, the first to hold that position within the PRM, took stock of his duties prior to the election of the new authorities during the entity’s XXIV Ordinary National Convention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI have been the first national Organization secretary of the PRM. It fell to me, together with hundreds of colleagues, to be able to structure this party in every corner of the country and in every place abroad where there is a significant community of Dominicans,\u201d expressed the minister as well.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The leader explained that this process began during the early years of the PRM and allowed for the expansion of its presence both in the Dominican Republic and in locations abroad with a significant Dominican population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI would say that is the greatest legacy we leave as national Organization secretary,\u201d he maintained.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

In Ascenci\u00f3n’s view, the work carried out allowed the party to be in a position to participate in electoral processes shortly after its founding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“A party that, shortly after its emergence, we were able to organize throughout the national territory and, in a relatively short time, put ourselves in a position to compete and subsequently win several electoral processes,” he stated.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Ascenci\u00f3n attributed those results to the joint work of hundreds of leaders and members of the political organization who participated in the formation of its structures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked about who will occupy the National Organization Secretariat in the new PRM leadership, he indicated that the name would be known during the presentation of the corresponding proposal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
