He indicated that he was taken to the Prosecutor&#8217;s Office and that he subsequently regained his freedom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Medina maintained that he always tries to comply with the established hours for the operation of his business and noted that he usually closes between 10:00 and 11:30 at night. He added that he also moves up the closing time for security reasons, due to the poor lighting in the area where he operates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The businessman expressed his dissatisfaction with the agents&#8217; actions and held the supervisor of the Hainamosa detachment responsible for any situation that might affect his integrity. Likewise, he requested the Director General of the National Police, Major General <strong>Modesto Cruz<\/strong>, and the Santo Domingo East Regional Director, Brigadier General <strong>Claudio Moquete<\/strong>, to order an investigation to clarify the facts and establish possible responsibilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We recommend reading:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to his statements, he is the owner of several small businesses, including grocery stores and a carpentry workshop, which is why he asserted that he is dedicated exclusively to work and does not constitute a threat to the community. He also expressed concern for his safety and claimed to feel like the target of an alleged persecution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The complaint was filed with the Dominican Committee for Human Rights in the municipal district of San Luis, where they requested accompaniment so that the case may be investigated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For his part, <strong>Di\u00f3genes Ozuna<\/strong>, representative of that entity, rejected the reported facts and urged the police authorities to conduct a transparent investigation.
