Santo Domingo.\u2013<\/strong> The Executive Directorate of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) ratified Ricardo de los Santos and Alfredo Pacheco to continue leading the Senate of the Republic and the Chamber of Deputies, respectively, during the next legislative term.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the case of the Senate of the Republic, Julito Fulcar will assume the role of Vice President, and Guillermo Lama and Aracelys Villanueva will serve as secretaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the case of the Chamber of Deputies, the same board of directors is renewed, with Dharuelly D’Aza as vice president and Eduviges Bautista and Emil Dur\u00e1n as secretaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n We recommend <\/p>\n\n\n\n The decision reaffirms the political organization’s confidence in the experience, capacity for consensus-building, and institutional leadership that both leaders have demonstrated while heading the legislative chambers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n De los Santos will continue as president of the Senate, while Pacheco will continue to head the Chamber of Deputies, providing continuity to a legislative management characterized by dialogue between the different political forces, the building of consensus, and the promotion of initiatives of national interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The ratification is part of the decisions adopted by the PRM Executive Directorate ahead of the start of the new National Congress legislative session, scheduled for next August 16th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Political maturity and unity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Likewise, the incorporation of Alexis Victoria as President of the Senate and Daniel Rivera as Vice President for next year was put to a vote and unanimously approved in an act of political maturity and unity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Alexis Victoria will be president of the Senate next year.
