SALZBURG, Austria.-<\/strong> Paris Saint-Germain started the new season with another title by defeating Aston Villa 2-1 in the UEFA Super Cup final, played this Wednesday at the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Parisian side, current Champions League winners, lifted the trophy again for the second consecutive year and became the third club in history to achieve this, after Real Madrid and Milan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Georgian Kvicha Kvaratskhelia<\/strong> opened the scoring in the 21st minute, taking advantage of an individual play to give the team led by Luis Enrique the lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aston Villa reacted before halftime and achieved the equalizer in the 45th minute through Brian Madjo<\/strong>, who took advantage of a cross from John McGinn to overcome the Parisian defense and make it 1-1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
