The tournament was held at the great Pete Dye design, the Dye Fore course at Casa de Campo, and featured the participation of 120 players who competed in categories A, B, and C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The pair formed by Edgar Alma and Eloy N\u00fa\u00f1ez was the winner of the best gross overall score, proclaiming themselves absolute champions of the tournament, thus placing their name on the grand cup and obtaining two replicas of the trophy awarded at The Open Championship, \u201cThe Claret Jug\u201d. The pair posted a score of 67 gross strokes, which earned them the award for best gross overall score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was formally inaugurated with welcoming remarks from the newly sworn-in president of the BritChamDR Board of Directors, Ryan Polanco. \u201cThis edition has a very special institutional significance, as it is the first major event we have celebrated since our General Assembly, marking the beginning of a new stage for the newly formed BritChamDR Board of Directors, a commitment we assume with a deep sense of responsibility and institutional continuity,\u201d expressed Mr. Polanco, who subsequently performed the ceremonial first serve that marked the start of the day&#8217;s competitive activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We recommend reading: <a href=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/internacionales\/interceptan\/\">Two planes intercepted after violating airspace over a U.S. club where Donald Trump was located<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>WINNERS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apart from Alma and N\u00fa\u00f1ez, in Category A the first place was won by Jan Giha and Robert Ray Torres; the second, Freddy Almonte and Steven Sabo; and the third, Carlos Romero and Julio Cross. In Category B the first place was won by Joaqu\u00edn Montero and Luis Castellanos; the second, Pedro Oller and Carlos Oller; and the third, Emilio Chea and Erick Read.
