ExpoHogar Banreservas 2026<\/strong> closed with results that reflect the dynamism of the Dominican real estate market, after reaching RD$11,247.3 million in approved financing<\/strong> for the acquisition of apartments, houses, low-cost housing, lots, and commercial premises in different parts of the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mortgage fair organized by Banco de Reservas approved a total of 2,050 applications<\/strong>, a figure that represents a growth of 60.7%<\/strong> compared to the previous edition of ExpoHogar. The results consolidate this initiative as one of the main financing mechanisms for those looking to acquire a property in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The executive president of Banreservas, Leonardo Aguilera<\/strong>, highlighted that the results of ExpoHogar Banreservas 2026<\/strong> reflect the financial institution’s commitment to facilitating access to housing for Dominican families and supporting the growth of sectors linked to construction and the real estate market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe results achieved at ExpoHogar Banreservas 2026 ratify the bank’s commitment to accompany the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, in his economic and social development policy,\u201d expressed Aguilera.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The executive added that the more than RD$11.247 billion in financing<\/strong> represent new opportunities for thousands of families and contribute to boosting construction, job creation, and national economic activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apartments lead the applications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Apartments<\/strong> were the properties that accounted for the highest number of transactions during ExpoHogar Banreservas 2026<\/strong>. In total, 1,011 applications<\/strong> were approved, equivalent to 49.32%<\/strong> of all registered operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The amount allocated for apartment financing reached RD$5,499.3 million<\/strong>, making this segment the main component of the portfolio approved during the fair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In second place were low-cost housing<\/strong>, with 437 applications<\/strong>, equivalent to 21.32%<\/strong> of the total. For these operations, resources of RD$1,443.4 million<\/strong> were approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Houses<\/strong> occupied the third position, with 321 operations<\/strong>, representing 15.66%<\/strong> of the total approved applications. Financing allocated to this type of property reached RD$2,464.4 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plots and commercial premises were also in demand<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The ExpoHogar Banreservas 2026<\/strong> offer also included financing for the acquisition of plots of land and commercial premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the case of plots of land, 186 applications<\/strong> were approved, equivalent to 9.07%<\/strong> of the operations. The resources allocated to these acquisitions reached RD$891.1 million<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the other hand, commercial premises<\/strong> recorded 95 applications<\/strong>, accounting for 4.63%<\/strong> of the total operations. The amount approved for this segment reached RD$949.1 million<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The results show that the fair was not limited exclusively to those looking for housing, but also offered financing alternatives for people interested in acquiring land or spaces intended for commercial activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Housing accounts for the majority of financing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Overall, apartments, houses, and low-cost housing accounted for 1,769 of the 2,050 approved transactions<\/strong> during ExpoHogar Banreservas 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This amount is equivalent to 86.29% of the total applications<\/strong>, which shows that the acquisition of homes was the main objective of the participants in the mortgage fair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The recorded performance also reflects the existing demand in the Dominican Republic for financing solutions that allow families to access a property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the results of ExpoHogar Banreservas 2026<\/strong>, Banco de Reservas highlighted the impact of the credit facilities offered during the fair and their contribution to real estate and construction activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
