Santo Domingo, DR.<\/strong>\u2013 The Banreservas Academy<\/strong> held the conference series \u201cLeadership in three acts: a banquet of inspiration\u201d<\/strong>, an initiative focused on strengthening leadership skills, promoting workplace well-being, and expanding professional development tools for the institution’s employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event brought together more than 600 employees<\/a><\/strong> and featured the participation of national and international specialists, who shared knowledge and experiences regarding emotional well-being, expansive thinking, and inspiring leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program was designed as a space for learning and reflection, with the purpose that participants can incorporate new tools into their professional responsibilities and turn the acquired knowledge into applicable actions within the work environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emotional well-being as the foundation of leadership<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The cycle began with the lecture \u201cWorkplace emotional well-being\u201d<\/strong>, given by Marco Leone<\/strong>, a specialist in well-being and human development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During his participation, Leone highlighted the importance of placing people at the center of leadership strategies and promoting work environments that contribute to the well-being of teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The specialist raised the need for leaders to understand that an organization’s performance is also related to how its collaborators feel, develop, and face daily challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference allowed for addressing tools and reflections aimed at strengthening more solid teams and sustainable leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expansive thinking to face new challenges<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The second conference, organized by the Banreservas Academy<\/strong>, was led by Carolina Angarita<\/strong>, an international speaker and mentor in conscious leadership, who presented the topic \u201cExpansive thinking\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Angarita invited participants to broaden their perspectives, question paradigms, and explore new ways of interpreting the challenges that arise in professional spaces. The specialist highlighted the importance of developing an open mindset toward change and seeking alternatives that allow for responding in an innovative way to the new demands of the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting, promoted by the Banreservas Academy<\/strong>, encouraged the participation of collaborators through questions, conversations, and reflection exercises aimed at connecting the concepts addressed with situations in the workplace. Inspirational leadership<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Banreservas Academy<\/strong> lecture series concluded with the participation of Carlos Escario<\/strong>, an international expert in leadership and strategy, who presented the lecture \u201cInspirational Leadership\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Escario encouraged participants to evolve towards leadership models capable of generating positive influence and producing a collective impact within organizations. During his speech, he highlighted the importance of leaders developing skills that allow them to inspire, guide, and support their teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Banreservas Academy<\/strong> session also highlighted that leadership is not limited to process management or team direction, but rather involves serving, acting by example, and creating conditions for others to develop their potential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leading is serving, influencing by example, and creating the conditions for others to reach their best version,\u201d stated Ana Pou<\/strong>, Senior Executive Vice President of Human Capital, Technology, and Operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each meeting was conceived as a space for the exchange of experiences and the practical application of the knowledge acquired. The conversations and reflections were aimed at facilitating the participants’ ability to transfer the tools learned to their daily functions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the development of \u201cThree-Tempo Leadership\u201d<\/strong>, the Banreservas Academy reaffirms its commitment to the continuous training of its employees and to the strengthening of an organizational culture focused on human development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative is also part of the institution’s efforts to promote transformative leadership, capable of responding to environmental changes and contributing to the professional growth of its teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Banreservas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Reserve Bank of the Dominican Republic (Banreservas) was created in 1941 and began its operations with an original capital of RD$1 million. Its first offices were located in Santo Domingo, Santiago, La Vega, Puerto Plata, Barahona, and San Pedro de Macor\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
