The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs (MICM) reported that the Dominican Government allocated another RD$1,087.9 million in fuel subsidies to continue countering the increase in derivatives in the international market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For this week, only regular gasoline and diesel will be adjusted, with an increase of RD$3.00; even with this adjustment, they remain below the prices established on June 13, when the 90-day freeze period was announced as part of the Anti-Crisis Plan. Meanwhile, LPG and natural gas remain with their prices frozen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The refining margin (difference between the price of crude oil and the price of the finished product) has increased by 26% for gasoline and more than 64% for diesel since the US-Iran conflict.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Government maintains its commitment not to exceed the established prices as long as oil remains below US$95, for the sustainability of the Anti-Crisis Plan implemented by the Government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the prices set for this week, the Government is subsidizing each gallon consumed by Dominicans with RD$15.78 for LPG, RD$9.97 for premium gasoline, RD$33.36 for regular gasoline, RD$86.89 for regular diesel, and RD$78.39 for optimum diesel. With the subsidy that the Government has allocated for this week, so far this year, the amount allocated exceeds RD$26 billion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the week of August 15 to 21, the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs orders that fuels be sold at the following prices:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Premium Gasoline will be sold at RD$341.10 per gallon \u2014 maintains its price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Regular Gasoline RD$307.50 per gallon \u2014 up RD$3.00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Regular Diesel RD$259.80 per gallon \u2014 up RD$3.00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Optimum Diesel RD$293.10 per gallon \u2014 maintains its price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Avtur RD$286.46 per gallon \u2014 up RD$4.96.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Kerosene RD$324.60 per gallon \u2014 up RD$5.10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fuel Oil #6 RD$159.06 per gallon \u2014 up RD$0.88.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fuel Oil 1%S RD$190.03 per gallon \u2014 down RD$2.62.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) RD$135.20 per gallon \u2014 maintains its price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Natural Gas RD$43.97 per m\u00b3 \u2014 maintains its price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
