Once inside, he allegedly grabbed the teenager, repeatedly struck her and threatened to rape her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The girl managed to reach the building\u2019s hallway, where her screams alerted witnesses who called 911. Police officers arrived shortly before 10 p.m. and reportedly <strong>witnessed the attack in progress before arresting Reyes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to police, the teenager had been inside a room with two younger children, ages <strong>5 and 7<\/strong>, when Reyes entered the apartment.
