{"id":521876,"date":"2026-08-17T19:07:39","date_gmt":"2026-08-17T23:07:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/en\/uncategorized\/jce-brings-identity-and-civil-registry-services-to-more-than-1700-people-in-haina\/"},"modified":"2026-08-17T19:07:39","modified_gmt":"2026-08-17T23:07:39","slug":"jce-brings-identity-and-civil-registry-services-to-more-than-1700-people-in-haina","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/en\/uncategorized\/jce-brings-identity-and-civil-registry-services-to-more-than-1700-people-in-haina\/","title":{"rendered":"JCE brings identity and civil registry services to more than 1,700 people in Haina"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Santo Domingo.<\/strong> \u2013 A total of 1,762 people from <a href=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"674892\">Bajos de Haina<\/a> and nearby communities had access to civil registry and ID issuance services during a special event held by the Central Electoral Board (JCE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operation was carried out between August 4 and 15 as part of the second edition of the Latin America and Caribbean Civil Registry Week, an initiative that seeks to facilitate access to identity documents and promote the timely registration of citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Throughout the day, residents were able to process late birth registrations, correct personal data, follow up on file investigations, and obtain the new identity card as well as the identity and electoral card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The services were offered at the Agustina Dominga Maldonado Soriano municipal library, known as Do\u00f1a Clara, where the equipment and personnel in charge of assisting community members were stationed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We recommend reading: <a href=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/nacionales\/jce-advierte-al-centro-economico\/\">JCE warns Centro Econ\u00f3mico del Cibao for publishing a poll outside the permitted period<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The activity included the participation of employees from different areas of the JCE, including Civil Registry, ID Issuance, Inspectorate, Civil Registry Support, and the Data Correction Unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event also received the support of the National Council for the Aging (CONAPE) and Sup\u00e9rate, institutions that collaborated with the call, logistics, and assistance to the citizens who attended the operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the effort to ensure more inclusive care, the JCE also provided sign language interpretation to facilitate access to services for people with hearing impairments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With these types of sessions, the Central Electoral Board seeks to bring identity and civil registry services closer to communities, especially to people who face difficulties in carrying out these procedures on a regular basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The initiative is part of the actions promoted within the framework of the Civil Registry Week of Latin America and the Caribbean, promoted by the Latin American and Caribbean Council for Civil Registration, Identity and Vital Statistics (CLARCIEV).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Santo Domingo. \u2013 A total of 1,762 people from Bajos de Haina and nearby communities had access to civil registry and ID issuance services during a special event held by the Central Electoral Board (JCE).
