Santo Domingo<\/strong>. \u2013 Next Wednesday, August 19, the Eduardo Brito National Theater will be the stage for the official launch of the 31st edition of the National Youth Award (PNJ), in a meeting that will bring together authorities, young Dominicans, representatives from different sectors, and protagonists of stories that reflect the talent and commitment of the country’s youth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The activity is scheduled for 4:00 in the afternoon and will mark the official start of a new call for the main award granted by the Dominican State to young people recognized for their contributions in different areas of society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the launch, the main details of the new edition of the PNJ will be presented, including its categories, requirements, application process, and the new features contemplated for this call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting will feature the participation of young winners from previous editions of the National Youth Award, who will share this space with new generations aspiring to be recognized for their trajectories, initiatives, and contributions to the development of their communities and the country<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The invitation is extended in a special way to Dominican youth, who are called to learn about this new edition, identify opportunities for participation, and nominate or propose young people who, from their different areas, are generating a positive impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The National Youth Award, established by Law No. 20-93 and its regulations, constitutes a platform to recognize the talent, dedication, leadership, and transformative capacity of Dominican youth. In its 2026 edition, the award recognized young people in 15 categories linked to social, cultural, academic, sports, business, and community development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
