The Manhattan District Attorney&#8217;s Office will have until <strong>October 9<\/strong> to formally respond to the arguments presented by the defendant&#8217;s lawyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Carro also set a hearing for <strong>December 10<\/strong>, eight days before Mangione is sentenced in the federal proceeding related to the same case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Luigi Mangione admits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/tag\/luigi-mangione\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/tag\/luigi-mangione\/\">Luigi Mangione<\/a><\/strong>, 28, pleaded guilty on August 14 in a Manhattan federal court to two counts of stalking and admitted to following Thompson before shooting him in front of a New York hotel on <strong>December 4, 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the federal hearing, the defendant admitted his responsibility for the deadly attack.
