Julio Ferm\u00edn Germos\u00e9n was arrested on August 14 following multiple complaints about Rockland Shipping<\/strong>, which authorities began investigating in June. Germos\u00e9n was charged with first-degree scheme to defraud, an offense authorities say involved 10 or more victims<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Customers reportedly complained that items sent in their boxes were missing. According to the complaints, company representatives allegedly blamed customs officials in destination countries and, in some cases, requested additional money to recover or release the missing goods. Germos\u00e9n was released after processing and is scheduled to return to court.
