{"id":522456,"date":"2026-08-25T12:59:46","date_gmt":"2026-08-25T16:59:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/en\/?p=522456"},"modified":"2026-08-25T13:28:04","modified_gmt":"2026-08-25T17:28:04","slug":"remains-of-former-adviser-to-sinaloa-governor-found-in-clandestine-grave","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/deultimominuto.com\/en\/international\/remains-of-former-adviser-to-sinaloa-governor-found-in-clandestine-grave\/","title":{"rendered":"Remains of former adviser to Sinaloa governor found in clandestine grave"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mexican authorities confirmed that the <strong>human remains found in a clandestine grave in Baja California Sur belong to Carlos Alberto Beltr\u00e1n Olmeda<\/strong>, a former political adviser to Sinaloa Governor Rub\u00e9n Rocha Moya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The remains were discovered on <strong>July 13<\/strong> in the municipality of Los Cabos, in a dirt road leading to the La Ballena neighborhood in San Jos\u00e9 del Cabo, according to the Baja California Sur State Attorney General\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Authorities said forensic specialists recovered a skeleton from a clandestine burial and transferred it to the Forensic Medical Service for examination. <strong>DNA testing later confirmed the identity as Beltr\u00e1n Olmeda<\/strong>, who had been reported missing on June 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to his official r\u00e9sum\u00e9 published by Latinus, Beltr\u00e1n Olmeda served as an <strong>adviser to Rocha Moya in 2021<\/strong>.
