Puerto Rico.<\/strong>– Urban artist Nio Garc\u00eda was the victim of a home robbery on Wednesday night, when three armed and masked men broke into his residence in the Gardenville urbanization, in Guaynabo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n According to information provided by the Police, the incident occurred around 8:46 PM<\/strong>, while the artist, whose name is Luis Antonio Qui\u00f1ones Garc\u00eda, was in the property with his wife.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The suspects, dressed in black and with their faces covered, entered the hall area carrying firearms. Under threat, one of them allegedly struck the singer on the head with the back of a weapon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Subsequently, the assailants headed to the closet in one of the rooms, from where they allegedly stole gold and diamond jewelry valued at about $300,000<\/strong>, in addition to a Louis Vuitton bag whose value is estimated at $6,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The criminals also took the firearm that belonged to the interpreter of \u201cTe Bot\u00e9\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Paramedics attended to Nio Garcia at his residence, while agents from the Guaynabo Municipal Police arrived at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The case was referred to the Bayam\u00f3n Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC)<\/strong>, which continues the investigation to identify those responsible. Investigators are also looking for security camera footage that could help establish the identity of the suspects and the vehicle used to escape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The assault occurs just over a year after another similar robbery against an urban artist in Puerto Rico.
