Santo Domingo<\/strong>.\u2013 Lawyer Frederick Ferreras, a specialist in family law and child protection, expressed his firm support today for the legislative initiative presented by Deputy Anny Mambr\u00fa, which requests that the Executive Branch authorize a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Crisis Intervention Unit in the municipality of Santo Domingo Este.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ferreras described the proposal as a fundamental step for strengthening the system for the protection of minors’ rights in the country, emphasizing that mental health is an essential component of the integral development of childhood and adolescence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“As a legal professional, I see daily the difficulties that families face when, in the face of a mental health crisis, they cannot find a specialized space that guarantees respect for the dignity and fundamental rights of their children<\/strong>“, stated the lawyer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
