The singer had announced her temporary departure from the spotlight before completing the tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tour\u2019s box office performance stands out because of its relatively limited number of dates. According to <em>Billboard<\/em>, Grande generated an average of <strong>$2.6 million in revenue and sold 15,600 tickets per show<\/strong>. Those figures represent increases of 74% and 14%, respectively, compared with her 2019 <strong>\u201cSweetener World Tour.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The strategy behind the tour also reflects a trend increasingly adopted by major artists: performing in fewer cities while scheduling multiple shows in each location. \u201cThe Eternal Sunshine Tour\u201d visited just nine U.S. cities, as well as one city in Canada and one in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before this tour, Grande had embarked on several larger concert runs, including the <strong>\u201cSweetener World Tour\u201d<\/strong> in 2019, the <strong>\u201cDangerous Woman Tour\u201d<\/strong> in 2017 and <strong>\u201cThe Honeymoon Tour\u201d<\/strong> in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although Grande has temporarily stepped away from live performances, she will remain visible on screen this year. She is set to appear in the film <strong>\u201cFocker In-Law,\u201d<\/strong> scheduled for release in November, alongside Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grande has also remained active professionally over the past year.
