Professional racing driver Ollie Millroy thanked his competitor Loek Hartog for saving his life after a fiery crash during the weekend in China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Millroy said he would be dead if Hartog had not stopped, gotten out of his car, and pulled him from the burning vehicle. \u201cTonight I am still alive, entirely thanks to one man,\u201d Millroy said, praising Hartog for risking his own life despite the lack of track marshals or fire crews nearby.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Millroy said he does not remember anything from 30 seconds before the crash until an hour afterward. He is now recovering from five broken ribs, a broken collarbone, a broken hand and finger, and a bruised lung, but said the injuries could have been much worse. \u201cThank you, Loek. I owe you my life for your selfless act today.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
