His funeral was held at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The area where the camp was located is close to the line where Israeli troops remain deployed. Near the site, an extensive sand barrier is also being built, which crosses the south of the Strip and divides the Palestinian territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inhabitants of the Bir 19 camp have previously reported being fired upon by Israeli soldiers while remaining inside their tents.
