Santo Domingo.- \u201cBanreservas is loaded\u201d, was the popular phrase used by the executive president of the Banco de Reservas, Dr. Leonardo Aguilera, in reference to the availability of resources that the entity has, especially for the productive sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The information was provided during the Santo Domingo 2026 Business Breakfast, where it was reported that a quota of RD$7 billion is available to finance the country’s productive sectors, as part of its strategy to support investment, business growth, production, and job creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There, Aguilera also highlighted that it currently has 5,417 active business clients, to which 207 new clients have been added during 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe Banreservas business segment is experiencing a historic year, and we project to close 2026 with unprecedented results,\u201d stated the financial entity’s executive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Likewise, he also highlighted the low delinquency levels in that segment, which are currently at 0.17%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe will continue to be allies of those who produce, undertake, innovate, invest, and believe in the future of the Dominican Republic,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the event, it was also reported that so far in 2026, we have disbursed more than RD$44 billion pesos to the business segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of that amount, nearly RD$16 billion has been channeled to the construction sector; more than RD$9.7 billion to commerce; around RD$9.2 billion to the agricultural sector, and more than RD$8.4 billion to manufacturing, in addition to other productive sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
