M\u00e9rido de Jes\u00fas Torres Espinal<\/strong> is a Dominican lawyer and public official who serves as the executive director of the Airport Department of the Dominican Republic<\/a><\/strong>. He has more than three decades of professional practice and a career linked to the legal, institutional, public, and business sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout his career, Torres Espinal has combined the private practice of law with responsibilities in public administration, legal consulting, institutional leadership, and municipal management. His experience includes roles within the Public Prosecutor’s Office, city councils, and agencies related to the titling of state lands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their professional career has been characterized by active participation in areas related to the strengthening of the legal system, institutional framework, and public service in the Dominican Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subsequently, he held positions such as Assistant Prosecutor of the Court of Appeals of Santo Domingo<\/strong>, from where he carried out responsibilities related to the administration of justice and the duties of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experience in municipal administration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

M\u00e9rido de Jes\u00fas Torres Espinal has also accumulated experience in the legal management of municipal governments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among his responsibilities was his role as legal consultant for the National District City Council<\/strong>, a position from which he was involved in the legal and administrative affairs of that institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the most relevant periods of his career in public administration took place between 2020 and 2023<\/strong>, when he held the position of Executive Director of the Technical Executing Unit for State Land Titling (UTECT)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From that institution, he was involved in the management and titling processes of State lands, an area that strengthened his professional experience in Real Estate Law, property regularization, and land management<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His time at the UTECT consolidated a career linked to institutional projects related to the regulation and legal security of real estate property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Executive Director of the Airport Department<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Currently, M\u00e9rido de Jes\u00fas Torres Espinal is the executive director of the Airport Department<\/strong>, a Dominican State agency related to the planning, supervision, and development of airport infrastructure under its scope of competence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their arrival at this responsibility represents a new stage within a professional career developed over more than three decades between Law, public administration, institutional management, and consulting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
