The Salvadoran leader lost 2.5 percentage points compared to August, when he reached 68.7%, although he maintains one of the highest approval ratings in the region and has led the latest regional polls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In third place is the president of Colombia, Abelardo de la Espriella, with a 53.6% approval rating compared to a 41.6% negative perception. The president took office on August 7 and, just three days later, had to face one of his first major challenges with the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that shook the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In fourth place is the leader of Peru, Keiko Fujimori, with a 52.4% positive image and 45.1% negative, after falling 2.6 points from the 55% in August. Fujimori assumed the Presidency on July 28.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is followed by the Dominican Luis Abinader, who registers 50.8% support and 43.8% disapproval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Abinader was the leader who improved the most compared to the previous measurement, with an increase of 2.7 percentage points, from 48.1% in August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ruler of Costa Rica, Laura Fern\u00e1ndez, occupies the sixth place with a 49.7% approval rating and a 45% disapproval rating, practically at the same level as in August, when she obtained 49.8%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The president of Brazil, Luiz In\u00e1cio Lula da Silva, appears in seventh place with a 48.5% approval rating and a 49.2% negative perception, which represents a drop of 3.4 points compared to the 51.9% in August. Lula is a candidate for reelection in the presidential elections in October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is followed by the leaders of Ecuador, Daniel Noboa, with a 47.4% positive image and 47% negative; of Paraguay, Santiago Pe\u00f1a, with a 45.5% approval rating and 51.2% rejection; and of Honduras, Nasry Asfura, with 43.2% support and 54.2% rejection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The president of Chile, Jos\u00e9 Antonio Kast, occupies the eleventh position with a 42.9% approval rating and a 52.5% negative image, after losing 4.8 percentage points compared to the 47.7% recorded in August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In twelfth place is the ruler of Bolivia, Rodrigo Paz, with a 41.6% positive image and a 53.6% negative one. Paz experienced the largest drop in the measurement, losing 8.9 percentage points compared to the 50.5% in August, while the country remains under a state of exception decreed to lift road blockades and curb what his government considers attempts at destabilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Uruguayan Yamand\u00fa Orsi occupies the thirteenth place, with a 37.7% approval rating and a 59.1% disapproval rating, while Argentine Javier Milei is fourteenth, with 35.5% favorability and 60.6% disapproval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the bottom of the ranking appear the co-president of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, with a 33.9% approval rating and a 63.9% disapproval rating; and the president of Panama, Jos\u00e9 Ra\u00fal Mulino, with a 32.1% positive image and a 63.4% negative one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Delcy Rodr\u00edguez, acting president of Venezuela, occupies the penultimate place with a 28.8% approval rating against a 64.3% rejection rate. Her administration has been marked by the country&#8217;s recovery following the two earthquakes on June 24 and by the promotion of agreements with the U.S. and other companies to strengthen the oil and energy sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In last place is the president of Guatemala, Bernardo Ar\u00e9valo, with a 28.2% positive image and a 67.3% negative one. His support fell 1.3 points compared to August, when it reached 29.5%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The survey was conducted by CB Global Data between September 7 and 11, 2026, among citizens over 18 years of age from 18 Latin American countries.
