Data collected between 2003 and 2026 show that unemployment rates for the two groups were similar for much of that period. In recent years, however, the situation has changed considerably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unemployment among people ages 22 to 34 without a college degree has rarely been this low over the past two decades. At the same time, college graduates are facing greater difficulties finding jobs, particularly those pursuing careers in science and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
