That simple desire, to find a little peace, is precisely the starting point of <em>\u201cA Bit of Peace and Quiet\u201d<\/em> (Una Hora de Tranquilidad), the comedy by renowned French playwright <strong>Florian Zeller<\/strong> that comes to the stage under the direction of <strong>Pepe Sierra.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The story follows <strong>Miguel<\/strong>, a man determined to quietly enjoy a jazz album he just bought. However, what should be a moment of absolute calm becomes the complete opposite: interruptions, conflicts, and unexpected situations transform his longed-for hour of tranquility into increasingly hilarious chaos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For <strong>Sierra<\/strong>, the work finds in humor a way to connect with a deeply human experience: our endeavor to control circumstances, even when everything seems to conspire in the opposite direction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cThis is a piece to have fun and laugh at how we try to have control of things and many times we cannot. That is the goal of this play,\u201d <\/em>noted the director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sierra <\/strong>also highlights the theater&#8217;s ability to offer the public a space for enjoyment and disconnection from the worries of daily life. <em>\u201cCreating theatrical pieces that manage to entertain, provoke genuine laughter, and relieve the weight of everyday life for a moment is one of the greatest pleasures I can enjoy as an artist,\u201d<\/em> he expressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>\u201cAn Hour of Tranquility\u201d <\/em>is the second theatrical production by <strong>Bougroup<\/strong>, following the success of <em>\u201cThe Truth,\u201d<\/em> which completed <strong>12 sold-out performances.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cast is composed of Jos\u00e9 Guillermo Cortines, Nashla Bogaert, David Maler, Vicente Santos, Graciella Dietsch, and Yasser Michel\u00e9n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c<em>Una Hora de Tranquilidad\u201d<\/em> (An Hour of Tranquility) will be presented on <strong>September 18, 19, 25, and 26, at 8:30 PM, in the Manuel Rueda Hall<\/strong> of the <strong>School of Fine Arts<\/strong> building.
