A 47-year-old British woman identified as Nusrat Osman was kidnapped Friday from her home in Blantyre, southern Malawi, according to local police cited by Sky News.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police said Osman was taken from her home in the Mount Pleasant area at around 12:30 p.m. by four men who were reportedly traveling in a gray Nissan Dualis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Malawian authorities are offering a reward of 30 million Malawian kwacha, approximately $17,250, for information that directly leads to Osman’s rescue and the arrest of those responsible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to local outlet Malawi24, Osman’s husband, Nazil Osman, confirmed the kidnapping and said he did not know where his wife was or how she was doing. He described her as an auditor and said he had no problems with anyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
