Massachusetts.\u2013 <\/strong>Dominican national Bryan Moises Fr\u00edas S\u00e1nchez, <\/a>51, was sentenced to 136 months in prison, equivalent to 11 years and four months, for his involvement in an organization dedicated to the trafficking of methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sentence was handed down by federal judge Julia E. Kobick, who also established five years of supervised release once the sentence is served. Upon completion of his sentence, Fr\u00edas S\u00e1nchez will be subject to deportation proceedings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts, the structure operated primarily in Roxbury and was investigated through several undercover operations conducted between July 2024 and January 2025. During that period, authorities carried out controlled purchases of substances that, according to the investigation, were coordinated by Fr\u00edas S\u00e1nchez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Authorities estimate that the group managed around 2.6 kilograms of pure methamphetamine, 70 grams of fentanyl, and more than 800 grams of cocaine. In some of the investigated transactions, the convicted individual allegedly used other members of the organization to deliver the narcotics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investigation also established that Fr\u00edas S\u00e1nchez even offered firearms during some negotiations related to drug sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The man pleaded guilty in January 2026 to conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, in addition to several charges related to the distribution and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fr\u00edas S\u00e1nchez had been formally charged in April 2025 along with Jean Carlos Fr\u00edas Polanco and Rafael Vargas Cabrera. Fr\u00edas Polanco received a 19-month prison sentence in May, while Vargas Cabrera was scheduled to plead guilty on September 28, 2026.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
