Moscow.- <\/strong>10% of Russian voters have already cast their ballots in the legislative elections that began this Friday and will continue until Sunday night, electoral authorities reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the website of Russia’s Central Election Commission (CEC)<\/strong>, as of 2:00 p.m. Moscow time (11:00 GMT), 10.41% of voters had exercised their right to vote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voting in the Russian capital, as verified by EFE<\/a>, was proceeding this morning without incident and amid tight security measures at the polling stations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding electronic voting, heavily criticized by the opposition, the participation of Russians who chose that method in these elections exceeded 50% in the first hours of voting and reached 50% of registered voters.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
