Its position places it ahead of Germany and Singapore, which account for 0.7% each. According to Diana Becerra Pe\u00f1a, a professor at the University of Guadalajara, Mexico\u2019s presence among the world\u2019s leading manufacturers is the result of decades of industrial specialization and operational competitiveness, supported in part by the trade agreement with the United States and Canada, known as the USMCA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Brazil ranks 14th, accounting for 0.4% of global technology equipment production.
