The Dominican president proposed that these three principles should serve as a foundation to build a more representative, efficient, and capable United Nations that can respond to the demands of the people<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

NEW YORK.<\/strong>\u2013 President Luis Abinader called on the international community this Wednesday to act with \u201cserenity, clarity and unity\u201d<\/strong> to strengthen the multilateral system and build a United Nations with a greater capacity to respond to the challenges facing peoples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During his speech at the 81st session of the United Nations (UN<\/a>) General Assembly<\/strong>, the Dominican president used those three concepts to propose the need to move towards a more representative and efficient organization.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSerenity, clarity, and unity. With those concepts, we must build a United Nations that is more representative, more efficient, and capable of meeting the demands of the people it serves,\u201d stated Abinader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
