Their roles in the project had not been previously announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The preview features a dark and mysterious visual style, with Swift washing her hands and appearing in tears, along with scenes showing two bodies underwater, a black rose and two women standing in front of a grave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The video also features cinematography by Mexican filmmaker Emmanuel Lubezki, the Oscar-winning cinematographer known for his work on \u201cGravity,\u201d \u201cBirdman\u201d and \u201cThe Revenant.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The full \u201cPatient Zero\u201d music video will premiere Sunday, September 27, during the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards.
