Jerusalem.-<\/strong> A group of Israeli passengers<\/strong> traveling aboard a Flydubai plane, which was diverted this Wednesday to Saudi Arabia, recounted in a video broadcast by Channel 12<\/a> that one of the pilots allegedly attacked the other and attempted to assault people who were inside the aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the images, several passengers<\/strong> appear next to the plane’s cockpit while guarding the two pilots, both lying on the floor and with bloodstains. The travelers claim they intervened to control the alleged aggressor and protect the pilot who had been attacked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe were attacked and we have controlled the terrorist,\u201d the passengers<\/strong> stated in the video, while pointing at the man who remained on the ground with an oxygen mask.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the passengers<\/strong> indicated that the man identified had allegedly attempted to stab several people. In the images, other travelers can also be seen with blood on their clothes, although there is currently no official information regarding the number of people who were injured during the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Passenger recordings <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The passengers<\/strong> who appear in the recording stated that the rest of the people traveling on the plane were fine and that they had blocked access to the cockpit to prevent the alleged attacker from continuing the assault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Information regarding what happened remains confusing and authorities have not yet officially confirmed that it was a terrorist act. The circumstances that led to the confrontation inside the aircraft have not been definitively established either.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israeli media, citing security officials, pointed to a possible attempted hijacking of the plane as one of the hypotheses. According to those reports, the alleged perpetrator is the co-pilot, an Omani national, who reportedly attacked the pilot, an Emirati national, with a bladed weapon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The passengers<\/strong> remained inside the aircraft until it managed to land at Tabuk airport, in Saudi Arabia. The diversion occurred while the plane was covering the route between Dubai and Tel Aviv.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israel’s Ministry of Transport confirmed that the aircraft was diverted due to a \u201ccrew altercation,\u201d without providing further details about what happened inside the plane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reported that it was monitoring the situation and that the necessary measures would be taken to ensure the safe return of the passengers<\/strong> to Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route recorded by Flightradar24 shows that the plane significantly altered its trajectory before reaching the Jordanian border. The aircraft made a turn to the north and reduced its altitude before changing direction again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subsequently, the plane headed south and flew towards Tabuk, where it finally landed. The maneuver allowed the passengers<\/strong> to be moved to a safe area while the authorities began to investigate the incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saudi authorities activated emergency protocols and coordinated with the airline to provide care for the travelers and the necessary conditions to continue their journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the moment, the passengers<\/strong> remain waiting for further instructions, while information is being gathered to determine exactly what happened during the flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
