A 33-year-old man allegedly stabbed his girlfriend to death inside an apartment in Far Rockaway, Queens, before jumping from the roof of a seven-story building as New York police arrived at the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The incident occurred around 11:50 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, on Neilson Street near Dinsmore Avenue. Officers found the suspect covered in blood and standing on a ledge on the roof. Police tried to convince him to come down, but he eventually jumped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The victim was identified as 31-year-old Pheona Premraji, who was found inside the apartment with multiple stab wounds. The suspect survived the fall and was taken to Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital in critical condition, where he remains under police custody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
