Santo Domingo.– The 9-1-1 System presented new technological capabilities that include robots, first-response drones, and artificial intelligence during THE Weekly Agenda, led by President Luis Abinader.
The presentation showed how a 9-1-1 System call can trigger an integrated process that includes geolocation, Fast Route, dispatch of response agencies, and deployment of the VAPRE-M2, a first-responder drone that can arrive at the scene and transmit real-time information while units are en route.

In addition to these capabilities, there is urban video surveillance and artificial intelligence tools on NVIDIA infrastructure to support decision-making during emergencies.

Another novelty is the incorporation of a robotic platform developed together with Boston Dynamics to support agencies in high-risk scenarios and reduce personnel exposure.
