A man is shot multiple times in San Francisco de Macorís

San Francisco de Macorís. – A new tragedy shakes the community of the Juan Alberto Espínola sector, following the shooting death of Jefry Martínez, alias “El Menor,” which occurred early this Sunday morning. The event, which is preliminarily linked to an alleged passionate conflict, has led the victim’s family to demand immediate justice. According to initial reports, Martinez would have allegedly been killed by his ex-partner’s current partner, a motive that the authorities are investigating with priority.

The lifeless body of “El Menor” was transferred to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) for the corresponding autopsy. After concluding the procedures, the body was handed over to his family, who expressed their deep sorrow and called for the intervention of the Public Ministry and the National Police so that the person responsible is arrested and brought to justice. So far, authorities have not offered details about the identity of the alleged aggressor nor confirmed if he has been arrested.
