“El Bobo” shot dead in alleged confrontation with DICRIM agents and the National Police in San Francisco de Macorís

A young man identified as Luis Miguel Martínez Agramonte, popularly known as “El Bobo”, passed away this Wednesday afternoon in the midst of an alleged confrontation with members of the Criminal Investigations Department (DICRIM) and agents of the National Police.

The incident occurred in the Mamá Tingó sector of San Francisco de Macorís, according to the preliminary information obtained so far.

According to data provided by the authorities, Martínez Agramonte was wanted for his alleged connection to several criminal acts that occurred in this city. The exact circumstances under which the incident occurred are under investigation.
