Santo Domingo, DR.- The National Institute of Transit and Land Transportation (Intrant) participated massively in the national earthquake drill organized by the Emergency Operations Center (COE), as part of the actions aimed at strengthening preparation and response capacity in emergency situations.
During the exercise, Intrant collaborators evacuated the facilities in a time of 1:35 minutes and effectively complied with the established protocols, following the corresponding instructions to ensure an orderly and safe exit.

The day allowed for testing the institution’s internal response and evacuation mechanisms, as well as reinforcing among collaborators the importance of knowing and correctly applying prevention measures in the event of a seismic movement.
The massive participation of the staff evidenced the commitment of Intrant’s collaborators to the prevention and proper management of risks, contributing to the strengthening of an institutional culture oriented towards preserving safety and protecting lives.
With its participation in this national exercise, Intrant reaffirms its commitment to the prevention and preparedness initiatives promoted by the Emergency Operations Center (COE) and to the strengthening of institutional emergency response protocols.
