MOPC will close the Floating Bridge for two hours this Saturday
The Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) announced that this Saturday, May 10, the passage through the floating bridge over the Ozama River will be temporarily closed, between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
The interruption of traffic, both vehicular and pedestrian, responds to maneuvers scheduled to allow the departure of the tug ANZU and the vessel BZA. LM241 from the dock Joseph Industrial Development.
Given that this structure links the National District with the Villa Duarte sector, in Santo Domingo Este, the authorities recommended using alternative routes during the closure period.

Through a statement, the MOPC expressed its gratitude to the citizenry for their collaboration and assured that the bridge will resume its usual operation from noon on the same day.
