Santo Domingo, R.D. – President Luis Abinader continues to strengthen his image before the citizenry, according to the most recent survey conducted by the firm ACIERTO, which reveals that 64% of Dominicans have a very positive image of the president, while 72% consider him “very honest”.
Furthermore, 87% of respondents rated the president’s decision to prohibit his officials with presidential aspirations from carrying out proselytizing activities as “very correct”, which, according to the results, is perceived as a sign of institutionalism.
The survey also shows strong support for key government officials. Figures such as the Attorney General of the Republic, Yeni Berenice Reynoso, achieved a “very positive” rating of 83%, followed by the Senate President, Ricardo de los Santos, with 74%, and the Director of Passports, Lorenzo Ramírez, with 76%.
Likewise, it is observed that 42% of citizens prefer the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM), placing it in first place, followed by Fuerza del Pueblo (29%) and the PLD (11%).
