VIDEO: Tourists stranded with suitcases amid violent protests in Paris
Two tourists were caught in the middle of unrest in Paris as protests swept across France, with debris, smoke and tear gas filling the streets. A video circulating on social media shows the two women carrying their suitcases as they attempt to cross a street in the French capital.
The footage shows them stopping near a pedestrian crossing, apparently unsure how to proceed amid the disturbances. Their destination and how they eventually managed to leave the area remain unknown, according to the report published on October 19, 2026.
