School Infrastructure intervenes Experimental High School and UASD campus of Elías Piña

Elías Piña.- Through the School Infrastructure Directorate (DIE) and the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, they agreed to resume the construction work of the buildings that will house the Experimental High School and the extension of the campus of the UASD in that border province. Roberto Herrera, head of School Infrastructure, explained that as of today, work will be intensified to complete the work within the “Aulas 24/7” Plan and it can be delivered in the coming months.

“Estamos aquí para seguir dotando al país de las aulas que se necesitan para continuar avanzado, en este caso y en coordinación con las autoridades de la UASD, nos estamos comprometiendo a trabajar mañana, tarde y noche, a través del Plan 24/7 y Dios mediante entregaremos en los próximos meses esta obra tan importante para la juventud y la niñez de esta provincia”,

expresó Herrera.

Meanwhile, the rector of the UASD, Editrudis Beltrán, emphasized the importance of the completion of the center, which will contribute to the strengthening of technical and university education and will transform the lives of the inhabitants of the province of Elías Piña; he highlighted that the alliance between the Central Government and the university is producing positive results for the country.

“Si trabajamos 24/7 en el marco de esta alianza Gobierno a través de Educación e Infraestructura Escolar y la UASD de manera conjunta, estamos seguros que este recinto será inaugurado en los próximos meses y lo vamos a dotar de aulas inteligentes, para seguir impulsando el avance tecnológico en la provincia Elías Piña y toda la región Sur”,

explicó Beltrán.

The official supervised the construction of the Ana Patria Martínez School, which consists of 24 classrooms and will benefit 840 students from Elias Piña and subsequently moved to the Gastón Fernando Deligne High School, where he arranged its intervention with the remodeling, corrective maintenance and the completion of the perimeter fence.
