Santo Domingo. – The Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Santo Domingo, Patricia Aguilera, highlighted that the administration of President Luis Abinader has fostered a reliable investment climate that attracts foreign capital to the Dominican Republic.
Aguilera underscored that, thanks to this favorable scenario, American companies have established themselves as the main source of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the country. This capital flow has generated thousands of jobs for Dominicans and has strengthened the economic ties between the United States and the Dominican Republic.

Currently, the United States remains the main trading partner of the Dominican Republic, with significant investments in strategic sectors such as tourism, manufacturing, free trade zones, energy, and telecommunications.
