Young man stabbed during dispute over debt in Los Alcarrizos

Los Alcarrizos, RD.– A young man was seriously injured with several stab wounds early this Tuesday in the Pueblo Nuevo sector, near route 63, in an event that the authorities are investigating. The victim was identified as Luis Chandelier Ureña, who received multiple stab wounds. According to preliminary information, the incident occurred when the young man went to collect a debt from an acquaintance. During the discussion, the alleged assailant stabbed him.

The assailant has been identified as “Michael Mofongo”, who fled after committing the attack. So far, the authorities continue investigations to find his whereabouts and clarify the circumstances of the event.
