Santo Domingo.- Journalist Yoan Silverio questioned to what extent the economic growth announced by the authorities is truly being reflected in the well-being and quality of life of the Dominican population.
Silverio made his statements during his participation in the program “Pulso Político,” a space in which he addressed the behavior of the national economy and raised the need to analyze whether the positive indicators translate into tangible benefits for citizens.

The approach arises after the Minister of Finance and Economy, Magín Díaz, highlighted the positive signs recorded by the Dominican economy in recent months, as a result of policies aimed at maintaining macroeconomic stability.
Economic growth versus the reality of the population
However, Silverio raised a question that, as he explained, goes beyond figures and economic indicators: where is that growth reflected in the daily lives of Dominicans?
The journalist considered that economic growth should not remain solely in positive numbers, statistics, or official reports, but rather must translate into tangible benefits for the population.
