Euro price shows variations this June 2nd in Dominican banks

SANTO DOMINGO.– This Monday, June 2, 2025, the value of the euro against the Dominican peso is experiencing fluctuations among the main banks in the country, reflecting the changing behavior of the international and local market.

According to the official figures provided by the Banco de Reservas (Banreservas), the euro is trading today as follows:

  • Purchase: RD$64.50
  • Sale: RD$70.00

For its part, the Banco Popular Dominicano offers a slightly lower exchange rate for buying:

  • Purchase: RD$62.50
  • Sale: RD$69.60

Meanwhile, Vimenca, one of the most consulted exchange houses by users and travelers, reports the following figures:

  • Purchase: RD$65.00
  • Sale: RD$69.70

The difference of up to RD$1.50 between some buying rates and more than RD$0.40 in the selling rate highlights the importance of comparing prices when buying or selling euros, especially in the face of uncertain international economic scenarios.
