SANTO DOMINGO.- The price of the US dollar shows slight fluctuations in the foreign exchange market of the Dominican Republic this Thursday, May 22, 2025, according to information updated by official and banking entities of the country.

The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic (BCRD) set the exchange rate of the Dominican peso against the dollar as follows:

• Purchase: RD$58.86
• Sale: RD$59.25

For its part, the Banco de Reservas (Banreservas) published the following values for today:

• Purchase: RD$58.40
• Sale: RD$60.25

Whereas the Banco Popular Dominicano established its US currency exchange rate as follows:

• Purchase: RD$58.00
• Sale: RD$60.50
