The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic published the reference prices for the purchase and sale of the dollar for this Tuesday, September 29, as follows:
In Financial Institutions, the dollar purchase rate stood at RD$57.59 and the selling rate reached RD$59.98.
For their part, at Remittance and Exchange Agents, the over-the-counter rate closed at RD$58.87 for purchase and RD$59.7417.
Dollar exchange rates at bank counters closed the session on September 28, 2026, with a slight decrease in their buying and selling rates compared to the previous session.
Looking at broader horizons, the data confirms a strengthening of the Dominican peso against the dollar both year-to-date and in the year-on-year comparison.
