Miami.- FIFA presented this Wednesday the song ‘DNA’, performed by tenor Andrea Bocelli, DJ David Guetta, and singers Megan Thee Stallion and EJAE, which will be another of the official anthems for the 2026 World Cup alongside Shakira’s track ‘Dai Dai’.
Bocelli and K-pop star EJAE will perform the song live for the first time this Thursday during the tournament’s opening ceremony at Mexico’s Estadio Azteca, ahead of the match between the local team and South Africa.
“This is more than just a game: it is our DNA,” states the song, highlighting the passion for soccer that will draw fans from the 48 participating nations, and others from non-qualified teams, to Canada, the United States, and Mexico.
«The song title, ‘DNA’, says it all. Football has been present in my life for as long as I can remember and it will always hold a very special place in my heart. Being invited to sing the FIFA World Cup anthem and participate in the opening ceremony is an honor that deeply moves me,» said Bocelli in a FIFA statement.

A new anthem for the World Cup
The blend of the powerful voices of the tenor and EJAE, combined with the modernity brought by rapper Megan Thee Stallion and the rhythms of David Guetta, create “a bridge between the history of football and its future,” according to FIFA.
The track joins other official World Cup anthems such as ‘Dai Dai’, by Shakira and Nigerian singer Burna Boy.
The Colombian superstar will be one of the protagonists of the opening ceremony at the Estadio Azteca, where global luminaries will get the more than 80,000 fans filling the venue and the millions watching through various digital and electronic platforms dancing.

Other stars who will participate in the event will be Alejandro Fernández, who will sing the Mexican national anthem; Maná, considered one of the most influential Latin rock and pop bands; Lila Downs, recognized for mixing jazz with Mexican folklore; Los Ángeles Azules and Belinda.
The World Cup takes place from June 11 to July 19, when the final will be held at MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey.
