Suspected Haitian gang leader known as “Galaxie” reportedly killed in police operation
A man known by the alias “Galaxie,” identified as the alleged leader of a criminal gang in Haiti, was reportedly killed during an operation conducted by the Haitian National Police in the locality of Bercy, between the municipalities of Cabaret and Arcahaie.
According to information published by local outlet Erikpr News, the police operation took place on Thursday, October 29, 2026, and involved specialized units supported by armored vehicles. The circumstances surrounding the alleged gang leader’s death have not yet been independently confirmed.
